To The Sea

Run, run, run to the sea.

Run, sweet lady, won't you run with me.

Does your heart beat in Time? Will it dance with mine?

She said love doesn't count for much.

She said love doesn't pay the rent.

She said love was misleading and unforgiving in the past, maybe so.

He said I'll be there at the end of a dream

I'll be there, if you know what I mean

I'll be there when others run and when others hide.

She said I've heard those stories more than once. Will you be here to love me when the morning comes?

Will you be there when you get what you want?

When you get what you need.

He said run, run, run to the sea

Run, sweet lady, won't you run with me

Does your heart beat in Time? Will it dance with mine?
