A passage from the book of life. The time to live is now. The young man in the mirror said, to his older self. Don’t wait until the clock slowly stops ticking, and your daylight begins to fade. To live the things you only dream about, to joyously sing the songs of your life. Life is like the waves on the ocean, going in and out. Catch those waves, and ride them, to their fullest. You ask who am I? I am what lives inside of every man. For I am the need to be free and alive.
My inspiration for writing "The Cracked Mirror"
My introduction to writing was writing lyrics. I was intrigued in telling a story within two minutes. My inspiration came from the singer/songwriters of the '70s and '80s, artists like Jim Croce (Rapid Roy The Stock Car Boy), Paul Simon (Late In The Evening), and Janis Ian (At Seventeen).
